He has drafted and prosecuted more than 600 patent applications in the following areas: energy technologies and power systems; semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, computers, and telecommunications technologies; and aerospace and robotics technologies.

Prior to founding HULSEY Intellectual Property Lawyers, P.C., William Hulsey founded the intellectual property law practice in the Baker & Botts, LLP Austin Office, co-established the Austin Office of the California-based Gray Cary, LLP technology law firm, and served as national practice leader for the Intellectual Property Law Practice of the Hughes & Luce, LLP. Mr. Hulsey applies twenty years of experience and achievements in protecting and licensing clients' intellectual property through U.S. and international patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and enforcement proceedings.
